You know, I remember when I found that I was pregnant and even when Huck was just a few months old,

I felt like there was a lot of can't like I can't go climb up this mountain or I can't like I'll never be able to

ski like this again and having kids really taught me to look for all of the cans to learn how to be creative and to learn to see how much you really can do a lot of times it means

You know I'm getting up later or I'm getting up earlier to go run or going to the climbing gym later at night or

Adventures look different but I think you know being a parent and being an adventurous parent really teaches you to find everything you can do. A little over a month ago at the outdoor retailer trade show in Denver, Colorado,

we collaborated with Otterbox to host a panel discussion of six

adventurous moms.

We talked about getting outside with and without kids of all ages, and it was a real learning

experience for me, someone without kids, to hear the skills

they've acquired by living and hiking, camping, skiing, climbing, and mountain biking with

little ones.

That day at the Otterbox Booth was the beginning of a conversation I wanted to share with you all.

I followed up with five of these adventurous moms afterward

and I'm excited to share their wisdom with you here.
