Hello and welcome back to the Truth Seekers podcast. Today is our ninth day of Advent as we reflect and remember the coming of Jesus.

The night Jesus was born, the Bible says that Mary wrapped him up in swaddling clothes. Can you say swaddling?

When a mother swaddles her baby, she wraps him up tight and cozy. Have you ever wrapped

yourself up in a cozy blanket? Did it make you feel safe and warm? Mothers swaddle their babies

by wrapping cloth around them to keep them safe and warm. Did you know

that baby lambs during the time of Jesus' birth were also swaddled? You might think, why would a lamb need to be swaddled?

In those days, lambs were offered as sacrifices unto the Lord.
