Hello and welcome back to another episode of the Truth Seekers podcast.

Today we continue our Advent series as we prepare our hearts for Christmas.

We've been talking a lot about Advent and during during Advent, we remember the coming of Jesus when

he was born in a manger on a night so long ago.

Remembering the coming of Jesus gives us hope as we wait for him to come again.

It also reminds us of the great and deep love the Father has for us that He would be willing

to give His only son to come and die for us.

We give gifts at Christmas time, but Jesus gave us the greatest gift of all, His life.

In Matthew chapter 1, verse 20, when the angel came to Joseph, he said, the child within Mary was conceived by the Holy Spirit

and she will have a son and you are to name him Jesus for he will save his people from

their sins this is the reason for Jesus coming so long ago the very reason he was

born was so that he could give his life for us.

John 316 says, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever

believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Can you imagine the power of God's love so strong that he would give everything,

even his own son, to save us? Romans 8, chapter 31 through 38 says, what then shall we say in response

to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own son but gave

him up for us all, how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the

one who condemns?

No one.
