Hello and welcome back to another episode of the Truth Seekers podcast.

Today is our 22nd day of the Advent series.

We only have three days left until Christmas.

We're getting so close. As we prepare our hearts by

remembering Jesus' birth, we also remember his life. Jesus grew older, and when he was 30 years old,

he began his ministry. Followers gathered around him everywhere he went, and he soon had 12

disciples who followed him and learned from him. Jesus would teach about God's love everywhere

he went. He also healed people of their diseases and sicknesses. Jesus taught that the kingdom

of God had come through Him. Some people didn't know what to think

about Jesus. Many people believed in Him and gave their lives to follow Him. Others were angered by Him.

They did not believe that He was God's son, and they could not believe that God had become a human and was living among them.

They were so angered that

they plotted to take his life. But no one can take the Son of God's life without him allowing

it. That's what Jesus came to do. He came to give his life. And so the day finally came

when Jesus was crucified. He knew he must die in order to take the punishment that was

meant for you and me. He knew that was the only way to save us. And so as Jesus died on the cross,

he took all of our sins, he took all of our diseases, he took all of our fears, and he became

sin for us. Jesus accomplished what he came on earth to do.

When the time came for him to breathe his last breath, he said, it is finished.

The punishment was complete.

Jesus' life was given.
