0:06.0	Today is day three in our Advent series and is called How Do You Celebrate Christmas?
0:13.4	This comes from Exodus chapter 16 verses 31 through 35.
0:19.7	This story begins way back when God's people were rescued from Egypt.
0:26.4	God had a plan all along.
0:29.8	He sent the plagues and Pharaoh let God's people go.
0:34.4	But soon changed his mind, chased them to the red sea and there...
0:42.8	God parted the red sea for the Israelites, his people, to cross to safety.
0:50.6	We pick up today's story after this.
0:58.3	God's people were wandering through the hot desert on their way to the promised land.
1:05.3	Step, step, with every step they grumbled as their stomachs growled.
1:17.9	They had been growing hungry.
1:23.3	There was no grocery store, no McDonald's to drive through, nothing, nada.
1:30.6	No farmers growing crops nearby in the sandy desert.
1:36.2	God heard the people complaining and being the loving father that he is,
1:41.7	God reigned down meat in the evening and bred each glorious morning.
1:48.0	It was a true miracle.
1:51.8	Does anyone remember the name they called the bread?
1:57.1	Manna?
1:58.1	Yes, very good.
2:00.6	Have you ever seen food fall from the sky?
2:03.4	No.
