The Day 9 of the Twilight Zone podcast Advent Calendar, our friend Harold Clark says what episode would you use to introduce someone to the Twilight Zone that has not already been spoiled by pop culture,

i.e. on The Simpsons or some of the sitcom.

This would eliminate iconic episodes such as to save man, nightmare at 20,000 feet,

I have to be holder, time enough at last, et cetera.

This is tough, isn't it?

Because a lot of them have been, you know,

lampooned in some fashion or other.

It is really tough.

So I think it's your turn to go first.

Oh, okay.

So you put it on me. All right, good. You know, I'm going to your turn to go first. Oh, okay. So it put it on me.

All right, good.

Yeah.

Uh, you know, I'm going to go with the shelter.

Because it's like monsters are due on Maple Street.

But hot take, it might be better.

So it also, it speaks the human condition.

And it has an even more unsettling real worldness to it since there was no end of the world or even aliens.

It's just people being people.

And I think that would strike a chord with a lot of audiences where it's like, oh, wow.
