The Day 13 of the Twilight Zone podcast Advent Calendar and our friend Sean Boggs says which episode or episodes would you say best predicted some part of the future and deserves the most

credit for seeing a development technologically, societally, you name it, that was not at all

obvious at the time.

So, you know, there's a few options there, Zach, you know, whether it's a technological

thing or a society thing, you know, there's a few options there, Zach, you know, whether it's a technological thing or

a society thing, you know, whatever it is. So go ahead. You go on this one.

Well, number 12 looks just like you was fresh in my mind because you covered it recently on the

podcast. And I think, you know, societally, it's like, you know, the obsession with self-image conformity like as you talked about there's a lot

of themes and layers to that you could peel back and and see and then you know there's a there's a

dark side of that obviously as the episode explores you know also another one he's alive you know

some darkness about human nature and then like the attraction of darkness and the power that it promises and the cycles of evil.

Like, again, you know, sadly still relevant today.

So those are a couple that like immediately come to mind.

That's more like societal human condition stuff.

But then, you know, technological, I mean, I could, nothing specifically comes

in mind about one of these astronaut episodes, but I'm sure there's, there's something in one

of them that predicted some stuff that we use today. Yeah. Because, I mean, there's so many,

like, because again, the late 50s, early 60s, we hadn't even been to the moon yet. So anything with like space travel was thinking far ahead.

And I'm sure there are some things that we do today that you could point to these Twilight Zone episodes and say,

oh, look at them using X, Y, Z.
