Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

It's called to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

You can tell that I'm praying with Kormak today.

He's practicing his rosary.

Now today, Sunday, this is the first day of Advent, in which we prepare to receive God in a greater way at Christmas, and I've been thinking a lot about what my Advent plan should be.

And as I was doing this, I was thinking about the innkeeper in Bethlehem.

Think about this this God came to this

in-keeper's B&B

but he had no room for God

So God had to be born in a stable made out of a cave.

Now, millions of people go to that cave every year to

reverence the birthplace of Jesus.

But that could have been his hotel.

Imagine the massive amount of money his descendants would be making today

if he would have just let Jesus in. All those millions would be coming

to his place and he could have charged him money. I bet his wife wanted to kill him and his descendants the same.

As I was with a group of friends last night I said, oh man, that innkeeper should have kicked someone out so that the holy family Jesus, Mary, and Joseph could have stayed with him.

And then I wondered out loud, who should he have kicked out?
