One of the issues we constantly grapple with around the water cooler here at Impolitic

headquarters is striking the proper balance between political and non-political guests for the show.

If Kamala Harris were president now, we'd surely be talking to more movers and shakers from

the worlds of entertainment, tech, finance, food, and other important quadrants of American life

because a Harris presidency,

whatever its flaws and defects, wouldn't have constituted an existential threat to America's

constitutional order and our democracy itself. But it was perfectly clear all throughout the

2024 campaign that the re-election of Donald Trump very much would, which is why I told

listeners that if Trump won, political guests
