Well, the worst kept secret in Formula One is finally officially revealed, as Aston Martin announced today at their base in Silverstone that former Williams-Mc McLaren and Red Bull technical director, yes, Adrian Newey, is heading to Aston Martin after his gardening leave expires with Red Bull on March the 2nd, 2025.

He joins as a shareholder in the team, as well as joining as a managing technical director on a three-year deal,

rumored to be in the range of 30 million pounds a year. Not bad. Well, joining me on the podcast,

fresh back from the announcement itself is our very own John Noble. So, John, how are you getting on?

Yeah, well, good. So it's just, yeah, Silverston's, Silverson's not the most convenient

of locations for me to get to. So it's up early this morning. Blast up with a motorbike.

I just got back. So I've literally just sat down, but I'm all raring to talk. Well, look, John,

if it doesn't work out for you in this career, which you're doing okay,

I suppose, you could always change careers and become a scooter delivery person, if you want.

becoming a true contender?
