And I don't know if you were just like giving sales advice or was part of a podcast or I don't know how it was going, but I do want to talk about sales because every business just kind of lives and dies by how often they sell.

Where I got my philosophy from, I wish I could say, you know, everyone asked

like, what's your favorite sales book? And I've never read a great, great sales book that I just

abide by and I just took my whole philosophy on. What I would say is I learned sales through just experience.

My first sales job, so I played junior college football.

Okay, what position? Quarterback. Oh nice. Yeah, and I was playing in Long Beach, California.

And first year, redshirted.

And I started selling direct TV and internet and all these different types of things.

And so my first experience with sales was having to talk to 150 people

every single day. Yeah. And when you do that you get immediate feedback.

Were they cold calls? No, no, no, no, in person retail, like Walmart's best buys.

So you're just sitting there talking to people.

Yeah, and I'm 18 years old at the time, right?

And so you quickly learn what works, what doesn't work.

I was always a people's person, but you want to force yourself to be uncomfortable, you force yourself to talk to people and Southern California is so diverse, so you learn how to actually sell and communicate with every different type of person,
