The Hey everybody welcome to episode 12 of cold case murder mysteries I'm your host

Ryan Krauss and today we're going to creep down into the basement of human

behavioral analysis and shine a flashlight upon some of the psychological implications

evident in the investigation and subsequent

conviction of Adnan Saeed in the murder of his ex-girlfriend Hamin Lee.

While the case has obviously been covered exhaustively and equally as well, at least from a factual standpoint,

there are two things I feel very strongly in regard to this case.

One, Adnan Saia had deserves a new trial, which he's now getting.

Two, I think he's guilty, which is the verdict I think we'll hear again.

But maybe not for the right reasons, which I'll cover more here in a bit.

Now, if you've listened to my show previously, you know we're not going to argue the validity

of cell tower experts, pings, and all of that related nonsense, even though these issues are

the basis for Adnon receiving a new trial.

In fact, there's one element of criminal cases playing out in court in recent years that bothers

me to a degree even remotely close to that of DNA and that cell phone records. We still try to make both

of these things binary irrefutable evidence in court when the reality is that they're nothing

more than inaccurate contaminated garbage when subjected to certain circumstances.

So, in the absence of fact, what are we going to discuss?
