Just completely excited and thrilled to have a deem the artist on the podcast today.

They are, I mean, artists is writing their name, but when I first came across a deem,

I think it was on TikTok, which then was that song that you wrote, kind of sending

up a certain aspect of country music, you know, and we connected on TikTok, and then

I went back and got some of your old records and you sent me white trash, revelry, the

new one, and I just about lost my mind.

I'm so glad I got to be a full-on fanboy, like one week before the rest of the world

caught up to me.

I was texting you, like, you know, weeks before it blew up, and you know, you love that

kind of thing.

I'm sure you do too, as a music listener, I felt like, holy fuck, a deem made this leap,

this is staggering, and it's been so fun watching the world notice.

To me, I think, for Judas, which is the second song on white trash, revelry, the song

of the year, I have a bunch of questions about that, but where I wanted to start is, right?

At this moment that you worked your whole life towards, and we'll go backwards, but I'm

so interested in how you're processing the fact that people really and truly get it,

like you just told me you're in Nashville to meet with a producer who you would try to

get coffee with to maybe raise the question in a bashful way of if they'd be interested

in producing a record, and now that person reached out to you because they heard this album

and loved it, and so how are you processing after working your whole life that you're

seen now, and you're recognized for doing this work that you're doing?
