We all have various sub-personalities.

Nobody has a full complete personality

that is essentially a whole.

We have various parts.

Many psychological systems engage with these parts

so that we can develop

meaningful ways to acknowledge and integrate the different parts of our

selves or our psyche.

dorsolateral regions, which is the things that when you do yoga, ride a bike, or run,

the things where your mind shuts off all the self-conscious parts and you're just present

doing something. Gardening, playing in instruments.

Self-soothing is a very valuable part of the human experience.

There are the worrying parts, ventral medial parts of the brain that worry about you, what other people think about you,

what's going to happen to me in my future, what's the matter with me?
