I speak very openly about how I have religious trauma, and sometimes people ask me,

what is that, what does that look like?

And I never really know what to say because it's so complicated. I have personally experienced literally every single thing that's going to be on these slides. And I'm sharing this because I think a lot of people don't realize they have religious trauma and they might have issues in their life that they could sort out if they knew what the root cause of those were. For people like this woman who is talking about this, you know, church trauma that she's

experienced, I hope that she and others can experience the grace and love of Jesus, sit

at his feet, and find good and healthy church communities where the truth of God is going to be placarded before them with all

humility and love where there is, I think, a care for and emphasis on things like purity and holiness,

but where our shame is met with the truth of the gospel and the blood of Christ. And she experiences

and they experience that great joy and that great grace that God extends to us through his

son.
