medicine gives kids and teenagers who are physically challenged the opportunity to compete,

connect, and thrive through sports and movement.

And in this episode of PDACast, we will explore adaptive sports medicine, what it is,

why it matters, and how families can access care, equipment, and community support.

And it's a timely topic because as the Winter Olympics wind down, the Paralympic Games will soon get started.

They are March 6th through the 15th in Milano-Cortina, Italy, right where the Olympics are being held.

And it is at the Paralympic Games that adaptive sports medicine really, really shines at the top level.

we have a terrific panel of guests joining us in the studio to discuss the topic.

Dr. Jonathan Napolitano is a sports medicine physician at Nationwide Children's. Timothy

McCullough is a physical therapist that works with the sports medicine program and, in particular,

the adaptive sports medicine program.
