So I recorded this podcast.

I've never aired it.

I recorded this podcast about a year ago.

I guess Jason will give you the exact date in the show notes and I didn't

end up putting it up because I felt that I I kind of failed here. Adam Carolla is somebody I have always admired an incredible amount

as a broadcaster, as an entertainer,

as somebody who has

who has a tremendous amount of what I call a day-to-day common sense,

meaning he really understands so much about how interactions between people work, how to get what you

want, when people are holding back when they should move forward, the excuses we tell ourselves.

But I also have always thought that his own success has perhaps blinded him to those who weren't gifted in the same ways that he is.

But it's still a thought that's not fully formed because the overriding feeling I have when I think about Adam is

personal fondness and warmth but when I say I failed I went in to Adam's studio to

do this a podcast and I don't think somehow I'd wanted it to be one thing.

It ended up getting off track and becoming something else.

I was on terrain that I hadn't studied up for in a way.

You'll hear all this. And something about it made me not put it up as we were, as election was coming even in the years this stuff was

all going on something held back and I think it's my own personal failing my

inability to kind of get the best out of myself. But somehow in the way that I want the
