The early 2000s, what a fun time. Some of you may not have been born yet. It was a heyday of mine. All my friends from college were living in New York.

We all would congregate at a place called Don Hills. Oh man, on Spring and Greenwich in New York City. So much fun dance. We would just dance to sweaty messes.

And it's what I was introduced to a lot of music that I had never heard. Bands like pulp and James and pulp.

Yeah, I love that song. I think that's the first time I heard it was there. And, um, oh, there were a lot of NYU students. But then you'd see like there'd be some fancy people there.

Kirsten Dunst used to go there, dance all the time with their friends. Were you intrigued by her? I certainly was. But I couldn't get really close because there was a wall of her girlfriend's dancing around her.

And as always, Saldana and I, not the name drop it. We used to dance together all the time. I know. But back then it wasn't name dropping. It was just Zoe from Don Hills. And we had so much fun dancing and living it up.

Being young and carefree. And I remember one of those songs that I was introduced to. God was it good. California California.

Christians Grimm and I think I loved it though. It was Phantom Planet. I was like, where? What is this song? Everyone went nuts and they started dancing. And it was really an

semi. But when I think of that song, I think of that place and that time in my life, which was really one I'll cherish forever. And now you all know about it. So, uh, it was a gross the way I sang that. Not gross. Just embarrassing.

Who's embarrassing what you were doing with your eyes? Cause I could tell you were a little embarrassed to do it.

O C if you were our parents. Yes. So they pronounce it stands for Orange County. Oh, yes. And it was a hit show created by Josh Schwartz. I believe. Yes. I don't know. Oh, I think it was. Oh, I know it was a hit show.

Yeah. Oh, my thinking gossip girl. It was Josh Schwartz. One of them was Josh Schwartz. He's hitmaker of some sort. And that song was written by Phantom Planet.

Alex Greenwald, I think, was the singer and a wonderful actor, a friend of ours. Hopefully future friend of the show Jason Schwartzman. Yeah.

Was the drummer. He was the drummer. That's right. And Matt, Josh Schwartzman is a great musician. He had that other song. I loved coconut records. It's great.

He's a Renaissance man. Why are we talking about the O C or the O C or the O C or the O C and a time in your life where like the world was your oyster and everything was was right at your feet.
