Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic

study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book. Through our studies in the Book of Acts,

we have seen the power of the Holy Spirit working in the early

church, and the Holy Spirit still works in the church in the same way. Today, we are going to

continue our verse-by-verse study through Acts, presently in the middle of chapter 4. This is a fun

and exciting section that has great application for us. So let's get

right to our study. Here now is Pastor John. In Acts chapter 4, we left off seeing Peter and John

brought before the religious council, called on the carpet, so to speak,

because of an incident that took place the day previously.

That incident, of course, was a man that had been lame for 40 years,

was miraculously healed in the name of Jesus Christ.

This caused the Sadducees to be greatly grieved.
