Today we begin our final teaching in the Book of Acts.

As we have traveled through the Book of Acts,

we have learned much about the church and about ministry. And there is more to learn in our final

chapter of the book. This is because the Apostle Paul is one who keeps on moving forward in ministry

no matter what. In our study today, we see that Paul has gone through another trial in

his life. Let's now join Pastor John for our study and see what we can learn by seeing how Paul

handles the trial. Acts chapter 28, we left off seeing 276 men with teeth chattering, knees knocking, skin, goose bumping,

as they were on the beach, soaked to the core, washed up from a shipwreck that took place there in a wintry season in the Mediterranean.

Paul, of course, was one of those 276 men. He had predicted accurately, prophesied really, that they would encounter a storm and that the ship would be lost in that storm, but all of those on board, which means the prisoners and the sailors and the soldiers, that all of those that were on board would survive.

Indeed, it happened just like he said.

Paul, in a sizable storm, and I believe that it was an attempt of the enemy to do him in, to drown him.
