It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

On our last searchlight program, we began looking at a courtroom drama.

In Acts chapter 24, we see that Paul is on trial before the Roman governor, Felix, and he is being accused of many things by the Jewish

rulers. But as we have already seen, Paul is confident that they cannot prove any of their charges.

Why? Because he is innocent.

Let's now join Pastor John for our teaching as this phase of Paul's trial is wrapped up.

Paul says in verse 19, these men that have accusations against me, where are they?

The ones with proof, the ones who claim to have seen me in this situation. The temple with Gentiles. Or else let these guys, verse 20, the ones that are here,

if they have found any evil doing in me while I stood before the council, let them prove what they've seen if I've done something

evil. Except it be for this one thing that I cried among them in the Sanhedron. I cried among them

touching the resurrection of the dead. I'm called into question by you this day. You might recall

the story in the previous chapter.

I went into the council and I said, I believe in the resurrection and it caused a riot to
