We began looking at how Paul handled the situation in our prior study.

Today as we begin another study in Acts Chapter 17, we will be looking at what many consider

to be a model sermon.

Let's now join Pastor John and see what we can learn about sharing the gospel to an idolatrous

world.

We left off seeing the Apostle Paul in the city of Athens. Athens, the city of Socrates, D.W. Richards rightly said

that Socrates, as you remember, was the one who asked all the right questions but never

had an answer. And that's true. The philosophers and thinkers of that day were indeed profound in the questions they asked, but really didn't have a whole lot of answers to those that were raised. The Apostle Paul cruises into that city and he has an answer for them.
