Here on Searchlight, we are looking at a very interesting argument that was being discussed 2,000 years ago,

and it is an argument that is still being discussed today. In our study of Acts Chapter 15,

we see early members of the church arguing about what it takes to be saved. Paul had preached

salvation through faith alone. After he left town, some Pharisees

who became believers came and told the new Christians that they must also keep the law to be saved.

As we join our teaching today, the matter has been brought before the elders in Jerusalem.

the law, and that understanding is that you can't legislate righteousness. With the explanation
