Here on Searchlight, we are studying through the Book of Acts.

This book shows us how the teachings of Jesus can be worked out in the lives of individuals and the church. It is a picture for us to use

as an example. We are presently in the middle of a verse-by-verse study through chapter one. As we

join our teaching in progress, we are discussing an

interesting verse about Judas. With our teaching, here now is Pastor John. Men and brethren,

this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before

concerning Judas which was guide to them that took Jesus for he Judas was

numbered with us and had obtained part of this ministry but this man purchased

a field with the reward of iniquity and falling headlong he burst asunder in the midst and all his bowels gushed out.

And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem in so much as that field is called in their proper tongue,

Asseldama, which is to say the field of blood.
