We recently began an exciting adventure in the Scriptures as we started the Book of Acts. This book shows

us how the teaching of Jesus works out in our lives and in the life of the church. Today

we are going to begin our verse by verse study of the book. Let's now join Pastor John

The Book of Acts is one of the most exciting, essential, interesting, informative books

in the entire Bible.

The reason I say that is because it shows us practically how the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ

and the life of his resurrected being works out in people's lives personally and in the church

context corporately. In the Gospels, we took in his teachings

and we saw his doings. But how does that work out? Once he has ascended up into heaven,
