about one of the most central characters of the Old Testament, King David, who slay Goliath, you know, as a child, and it's really great to have you with us, Michael. Welcome. Thanks. It's so amazing to be here. Thank you. So give us a little recap of your own life, because you were born in Egypt, and then you came to the States. How did you end up in theater and film? It's kind of funny. I always wanted to be an actor, ever since I was like seven, and I told my family, I'm like, I'd love to be an actor, and they're like, no, you're going to be a doctor. I was like, okay. So I was getting ready to be a doctor, but then in high school, I was sitting in history class one day, and this girl, she was sitting next to me, and she said, hey, I'm in choir, and my choir teacher is going to give me $10. If I get any boy to audition, could you audition and get me $10? You don't have to join. I said, yeah, I'll do your favor. So I went and I met the director and he gave me a little test and then he was like,

yeah, but it's not gonna be up to you.

I'm gonna put you in choir and the musical.
