Pushkin. This is talk easy. I'm San Francisco,, writer and comedian Bob Oinkirk.

Over the past four decades, Odenkirk has made a career in comedy, first writing on

SNL in the late 80s, then acting on the Larry Sanders show in the early 90s,

before eventually creating Mr. Show in 1995 with comedian David Cross.

In the years between then and now,

Odenkirk has been hailed as a founding father of the Alt comedy movement,

alongside Janine Garofalo,

Patton Oswald, and of course, Cross himself.

But he's recently pivoted into more traumatic work.

You likely remember his portrayal of criminal defense lawyer Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad, which would later

spawn the hit spin-off series Better Call Saul. His latest collaboration with

AMC is a new show called Lucky Hank.

In it, Oderk plays the curmudgeonly chair

of an English department where he grapples with outspoken college

students, disgruntled colleagues,

and his own very frustrating writers block.
