Adam welcomes Taylor Morgan back to the show to fill in for Teresa and the news. During her last visit, Adam complained about the difficulties of having to pee while on stage, so Taylor has come prepared with a gift: a travel john. Essentially a rubber bag you can pee in, Adam thoroughly enjoys the gift, and talks about the various times he would need it.



Taylor jumps into the news, opening with the 33 miners still trapped in Chile. Taylor reports that they are now for the first time getting power and cigarettes, even though they anticipate to be stuck down there through December. Adam also suggests the miners have smelled like ass from day one, and says they'll probably want to return to the cave once they're out. Other news stories revolve around a mother in England banned from going online, Reggie Bush forfeiting his Heisman trophy, and Chelsea Handler's upcoming sex tape.



Adam then takes a series of listener phone calls about a variety of topics. He talks about his upcoming show in Houston, and also the experience of selling out shows in Sacramento, Seattle and Portland. Another caller asks Adam about his thoughts on the generation that followed his, and a final caller asks Adam about Howard Stern and the Sirius situation.



Actress and Author Kristen Schaal comes in studio, and talks to Adam about how they've never met before even though they should have. She also talks about the book she co-authored, 'The Sexy Book of Sexy Sex.' Adam asks her about her freelance experience on The Daily Show, and she talks about her Emmy-winning boyfriend and the table they want to make from his awards. Adam also complains about having to read his audio book, and tries to convince Kristen to read a chapter for him.



In the last part of the news, George Michael was recently sentenced to 8 weeks in jail. Adam and Kristen talk about wealthy people's ability to quickly generate money, and also wonder how musicians stay inspired to write good material. Another news story involves the natural gas line that exploded, and Bald Bryan shares a picture which shows the explosion which was right near his uncle's house. The final news stories revolve around the new American Idol judges, and the controversy surrounding legalizing pot. Adam ends the show with a new TV show pitch, where he goes around to all his old bosses and tells them to fuck off.
