But let's start with your journey of why you wanted to get into real estate investing.

The very beginning and the first time that I ever thought about it, it actually was around

health. So my wife's grandma passed away really young. I mean, I think she was in her

maybe late 50s, early 60s from Alzheimer's. And it started us on a path of knowing, okay, we don't want to work until we're 65, just to

try and live the life that we always wanted to live.

There's got to be a better way.

And I worked at a broker dealer at the time, and I started looking into, okay, how many,

how much do these retired people have in their brokerage account and did the math and

figured out what we would need to put into a 401k or brokerage account to get to where we

wanted before we're even 60?

And the math didn't work out.
