Summary

The reality is that all marriages are filled with challenges. How a woman responds to her marriage will determine if it is a place where the light and beauty of God's love will be shown. One of the glories of women is the opportunity to spread the gracious spirit of love and peace in her home. It is a beautiful grace of godly women to behold -- the fragrance of unconditional love and the art of spreading light, even in the dark places.

Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

0:13.0

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

0:18.6

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

0:24.6

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

0:38.2

Hi friends, it's Sally Clarkson. I'm so happy you joined me today. I have all sorts of

0:43.4

things going on in my life. I literally just walked home from the train station after

0:49.4

being in Scotland for a couple of days and I thought, oh my goodness, I just had the

0:55.2

maybe today I could just tackle it in a short way because I don't have a lot of time

1:27.7

tonight. And we did talk about just important short principles. And so I hope that this

1:50.5

Peter is as we know a man of flaws, a man of passion, a man who followed Jesus with his

1:57.0

whole heart and a man who was short-sighted from time to time. And I think that's how all

2:02.1

of us are. But the thing, one of the main verses that he gave to us was a reflection

2:09.1

I think of what he had learned from Jesus himself. And so let me read that to you. I'm just

2:19.0

now because I'm late today. I'm just not getting the verse reference. Okay. So Peter, you know,

2:27.8

he's talking and he's encouraging and he's saying all these wonderful things in this

2:33.7

letter and first Peter. And it says basically in verse 7, first Peter 4, verse 7, he says
