Guys, what's the craziest thing you've ever said in a job interview that you think didn't get you

the job oh this is good i really need this job i did say that start tomorrow too desperate yeah

written down definitely that one happened to me i mean you like actually interviewed or part of like pre-draft

process stuff. Oh yeah. Dude, all the time, man. And we had the full game. I know last week I told

the story of Aaron Afflalo. We asked him, whose career did you see yourself happy? He said Kobe Bryant.

Who's the man in the mirror? It was adamant. He was Kobe Bryant.

I'm going to tell you the worst answer ever. I'm not going to say the player's name.

This is a player who had been accused of choking his girlfriend. He had a domestic violence thing.

And so you're going to interview through the pre-drive process. a lot of players and sometimes they have records or some sort of thing in their past. And you interview them and

99 times out of 100, you get some form of, yeah, it was a mistake. I should have never done that

and it's really open my eyes like that or something sort of like

I'm sorry and I'll never do it again. So we got through the whole interview. Most of his answers

are really good and of course we've got to ask you about the allegation. And this kid,

his answer is like, oh, I only choked her for like a second. Oh no, no. Full on 100% irritated. No. He'd been asked that question, I guess, everywhere. He's like, come on, guys. Only choked for like a second. At what point is it not okay? The math in his head is like three seconds. Yeah. The five second rule, you pick up some food. It's somehow okay. I grabbed it. I let it go. What's the big deal? It was basically his answer. So that might have been the worst. And it's how you caught him off guard. It's a job interview. Yeah. Yeah. Well, his media training wore off by the time that answer to your interview came up. That's too bad. Oh, Drew Holiday had a great pre-draft interview. We were falling over each other.

Well, Drew Holiday, you know, is on the same level as Nicolioch. Some people's mind. Yeah, it's in some people's minds, yes. Why are you asking you, Mays? Yeah, why are you bringing all this up?
