Turn with me to a couple of openings here, John chapter 10 and 2 Corinthians 9.

John chapter 10, 2 Corinthians 9.

In John the 10th chapter, John chapter 10 in verse 10, John 10 says, the thief comes not,

but far to steal and to kill and to destroy.

I am come, Jesus said, that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.

Thank you, Lord.

If something stole something out of your life,

if something killed something in your life,

destroyed something in your life,

do you believe the word enough to acknowledge that it wasn't your good father that did it?

If you do, you're ahead of millions of church-going people.

I know that seems like a very obvious thing having read this verse,

but there are millions of good church-going people that believe in Jesus, believe in

God, but they're confused about this. They think that things that destroyed their life or

stole things out of their life, they're attributing that to God. Millions of them. But Jesus,

to me, made it crystal clear. And this is not the only verse. There are millions of but Jesus to me made it crystal clear

and this is not the only verse

there are many many just like this

the thief

doesn't come unless he's coming to steal

something or kill

something or destroy something
