Let's do this. The U.S. is stepping up its trade demands. As Reuters reports, the Trump

administration has told countries to turn in their best offer on trade negotiations by today.

Remember, President Trump paused his so-called Liberation

Day tariffs for 90 days. And now that the 90 days is almost up, it looks like his administration

is trying to speed up trade talks. So far, only one agreement has been reached with a major

U.S. trading partner, Britain. And that was really more of a framework for ongoing talks.

productive talks are still ongoing, though, with countries like Japan, Vietnam, India, and so on.

Meanwhile, court battles over these tariffs are still happening, but the Trump administration has told

trading partners that even if the court rules against them, that the tariffs will still come about

in some other way. Separately, those steel and aluminum tariffs
