Hi everyone, I'm Bridget Bergen from WNYC's Newsroom. My friend Brian is taking a little break today,

asked, what will abortion access look like after Roe is overturned, as it's likely to be?

He wanted to keep our sights set on the fact that abortions will continue whether or not it's a constitutionally protected right, and also that we've been here before.

In the time before Roe, there were networks of people, often clergy, as you'll hear, who helped women travel and secure abortions out of state.
