syndicated columnist and policy editor at the Bulwark, and I'm joined by

our regulars Bill Galston of the Brookings Institution

and the Wall Street Journal, Damon Linker of the Week, and Linda Chavez of the

Niskannon Center. Our special guest this week is Robert Pindyke, Professor of Economics at the Massachusetts

Institute of Technology. Professor Pindyke has written a compelling forthcoming book about climate change

called Climate Future and we're going to get

to that in our second segment. But we're going to begin with the news from the

Supreme Court. Someone leaked the draft decision of the court that was written in

February and was circulating among the justices that showed at the time five justices in favor of overturning

Roe v. Wade and Casey completely and this has thrown the country into a certain amount of turmoil.

And there is a lot of talk, first of all,

about the motive for the leaker.

It's considered quite an egregious breach of etiquette and norms of the court where the confidentiality of these drafts is considered sacrosanct.

And so there's been some speculation about who, you know,

QE bono, why would somebody leak this?

Damon, I'm gonna start with you on the topic of the leak itself.

At first, a lot of people thought that it was probably one of the clerks for a liberal justice

who leaked it, and then others said no no the motive

runs the other way do you want to speculate on that or do you think it's not

important in the grand scheme of things well I'm happy to speculate as long as we're all honest enough and realizing that when we have
