The So, So we're back with Abolish APD to discuss a new story about leaked documents that reveal the Albuquerque

Police Department engaging in a large-scale data and intelligence gathering operation which has been going on since 2006 and has been carried out by private citizens as well as corporate partners here in the city.

And so this privatization of data as well as corporate partners here in the city.

And so this privatization of data gathering means

the Albuquerque Police Department has avoided community oversight,

which I think is something that this current, you know,

city administration has emphasized

with the, you know, with the police oversight board,

etc, through the police reforms that are happening and also judicial review in the

acquisition of this information some of which would have required as as my

guest today will argue David and Keegan from Abolish APD, which would have required

a warrant to collect this data.

So in addition to documents show, in addition documents show this operation has been used on at least two occasions

for explicitly political purposes.
