Hey my friends, welcome back.

I am thankful you with me.

As you and I, believers in Jesus Christ, strive to get our minds aligned with the truth

of God for this day.

We are doing something to build up the entire body, the entire community of faith.

Because as one part, strengthens itself, the whole becomes stronger.

So I am thankful that thousands of us are joining together every day to get our minds

aligned with the truth of God's Word.

Today we are looking at John chapter 8, verses 31-32.

Jesus has been having an ongoing conversation with the Pharisees, the religious leaders of

his day, who were opposing his claims of being the Messiah, and he has just finished up

a very, almost heated conversation with them.

And it says at the end of the previous verse, verse 30, that many who heard his words

believed.

So the crowd that was around, who Jesus had been teaching before the Pharisees interrupted,

they are still listening on, and some of them believed.

Verse 31 says, So Jesus said to the Jews, who had believed in Him.

If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples.

And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

My friends, this phrase, you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

Has become somewhat of a mantra in our culture in certain areas.
