It's easy to stress over why the things we're doing for God aren't working.

And in the first part of this classic message, Francis Chan brings us back to the foundational

truth of John 15.

Jesus is the vine.

We are the branches, and we can do nothing apart from Him.

Man, I just love being with you.

I have loved being with the leadership.

I needed this so badly, because sometimes you just think you're crazy, you're insane.

You know, everywhere you go, and then you come to a place like this and you go, okay,

maybe I'm not so crazy, you know, or maybe we all are together.

It's just one of the things where we go, I'm blown away, honestly.

I'm praying and just trying to figure out what to say, because when I was your age,

those of you in college, my mindset was nowhere near where yours is right now.

I mean, to consider giving your life up to go to the ends of the earth and believing that

Jesus is so worth it, that was so not in my vocabulary during those years.

I just didn't get it.

I grew up in a time when it was just, hey, pray a prayer, ask Jesus in your heart, and

then just go do your own thing, and now you're not going to hell.

There wasn't any concept of Jesus being so worth it that you would just deny yourself

and pick up your cross and just follow Him, and go to the ends of the earth, and for some

of you to be thinking that right now, your age, I get so excited for that.
