Hey guys, it's Alana and welcome back for another episode of seeing other people.

I am so excited for today's episode.

Some of you, most of you, nobody really knows this, but maybe I've talked about it once or twice.

When I was younger, I really wanted to be a songwriter and a singer.

And I'm tone deaf, so that obviously didn't work out.

But I have multiple, like, songwriting books and poetry books and, like, blogs out there that are super secret and private.

So don't go looking because you're not going to find them.

But they are filled with songs that I wrote in like elementary school, middle school,

high school.

I have a whole like website about this one boy when I was in like seventh grade that I wrote.

And yeah, I basically for years I would put of my emotions, all my feelings and all that

into these songs that like, first of all, I'm literally tone deaf.

So nobody was ever going to hear them.

But at the time, I thought that like I could sing, which I could not.

Though my parents like to think that I could.

But yeah.

So that combined with the fact that I used to work in music,

and I've always, like music's been such a big part of my life,

and I've always been so fascinated by the whole songwriting and production process.

I've been really dying to have a singer-songwriter artist on this podcast.
