recommend starting several episodes ago which was I believe episode 44, 45, ABC Model Part 1, where we introduced the ABC

model, which is that in most moments there's some sort of activating event, a stimulus, that's the A. We have a belief about that

event, what it means to us, that's the B, and then through that belief there's some sort of consequence it will create an

emotion a behavior or a reaction in a way we explored just how to be aware of

those beliefs and then how to shift those beliefs and how to work with the more

stubborn beliefs.

This episode is less about skills and ways to work with the ABC model and more an acknowledgement and

appreciation that I offer to you and I hope you can offer yourself in relationship

to the kind of work we're doing here.

You know, the ABC model might be something that you perceive as for your own well-being,

and it's true when you start to examine your own life and

the beliefs you have around certain events and work with changing those beliefs to more empowering beliefs. It does influence your well-being.

It can take you from a place of reactivity that might create anger or sadness or worry to a place of confidence, joy and ease.

And that's powerful for your own happiness and your own well-being.
