Summary

Sybil C had been sober for 39 years at the time of this speak, she is from of Los Angeles and is speaking on the subject of How the Traditions Were Born, a topic she lived while working in the AA office in New York at the time of their creation. Sybil got sober in 1941 after trying for 17 years, at her first meeting she was asked to wait out in the hall because it was a closed meeting and they thought she was one of the wives, not one of the drunks, she was also the first woman AA member on the East coast. I was a bit shocked at how well this cleaned up considering how it sounded on my first listen. 0:33.0	And by the time this thing is over I will be quirky and bright and shiny and sparkling and I won't have cotton wool in the head.
0:42.0	And I'm just not a morning person. Most of you people know me and met in particular who drove us down.
0:48.0	I will tell you that I am not very sharp until about noon.
0:53.0	But that's not the cause of advancing age. I never was. I always did sleep in.
0:58.0	I never did like to go to a morning meeting. I do, but I did when I do and that's easy to do compared to being up here.
1:05.0	And suppose to tell you something about the way it was in the old covered wagon days about the homologues and animals.
1:14.0	And how it came about that our traditions were born.
1:20.0	Can you imagine such a thing from an ex? This is my.
1:25.0	The way I spent my earlier years and extra dancer extra bootlegger.
1:32.0	Secretary real estate broker.
1:36.0	A fruit trap. It's going all the way up to Oregon apples.
1:40.0	Depending on what was right at the time, grapes down around Fresno and so on.
1:45.0	I've been door to door, milk, coffee, whatever.
1:49.0	A good job and a bad job and a chamber made over in Catalina so that I could enjoy Catalina.
1:57.0	Clean the room so that I could go out and beat and get a good tan.
2:00.0	It didn't matter. Sandwich factory made sandwiches.
2:03.0	I know how to make mob sandwiches and lift them.
