| 0:55.5 | films and we organized people around the films because we couldn't like sell them to a studio or |
| 0:59.7 | anything. We did that 10 years ago and that was community organizing, right? And I, you know, I needed |
| 1:05.3 | the double lung transplant. We organized a community to kind of help me do that. Political |
| 1:10.3 | campaigns, the Obama campaign. |
| 1:12.5 | All of this was community organizing. |
| 1:14.2 | And so for you, community was a sort of tools the wrong world, |
| 1:17.9 | but it was a mechanism to help you get things done. |
| 1:20.2 | And a wide variety of things, from lungs to politics to, you name it, right? |
| 1:26.6 | Yeah, and so the genesis and the idea of |
| 1:28.3 | nationhood was that you know that should be that power should be available to |
| 1:31.5 | everybody right there was this sort of widening gap this widening digital |
| 1:35.3 | divide that was happening where the folks who had a lot of resources could organize |
| 1:39.5 | because they could hack together all these different tools you know everything |
| 1:42.6 | from donation processing to email marketing and stuff like that. |
