Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hello my friends, it's Sally Clarkson at Home with Sally and friends. I am welcoming you here today

to my place. And I am going to do something very special and fun today. My daughter Joy and I

and in the spirit of me sharing some of my favorite books with you did a podcast together. She has

put this on her podcast already, but I wanted to share my podcast with you today with Joy who's

doing a book club this summer on to me a very important book to read out loud and to discuss with

your children. And many of you already love it. It's called A Rinkle in Time. And it was so much

fun to do this. I know that in my own life, I tell you the story about it in the podcast today,

but it made a big impact on me on seeing the conformity of the world and people so inclined to

following people and and pressures and statements from those who are in their wake. And I think if we

can fast forward to a time when there are all sorts of messages on the web and on the internet,

we are so prone to following people even if they don't really have truth as an undergirding in

what they're sharing. And this book is such an important book to discuss for you to read, for

you to read with your children and talk about what it looks like to be an individual who walks in

freedom and in truth and in wisdom and what it looks like to resist the pull and the draw of the

forces that cause everyone to conform. And so anyway, I hope you'll enjoy it. I am in the midst right

now this week of recording my new book Awaking Wonder. And so I don't have as much time to write

long blog posts or podcasts, but we had so much fun doing this and I would love for you to tell

me what you think about it and also tell me what you think about the book if you've already read it.
