I will confess, this is hard for me, walking the narrow line between rebuking someone out

of love and condemning someone out of anger.

And even when my intentions are truly out of my care for them, how can I ensure that

they hear my words as caring and not reprimand?

The theme of this meditation from Proverbs chapter 27 is wisdom, finding wisdom and sharing

wise words.

So to begin your meditation, slip into a time in a space where you can feel open and

honest, just consent now to surrender this time to God.

And start by listening and responding to this prayer from Psalm chapter 34, respond,

Lord God, reveal to me your wisdom.

Our human fathers correct us for a short time, and they do it as they think best, but

Lord God, reveal to me your wisdom.

The God corrects us for our own good because he wants us to be holy as he is holy.

So Lord God, reveal to me your wisdom.

It's never fun to be corrected, in fact, at the time, it's always painful.

So Lord God, reveal to me your wisdom.
