Hi, welcome to Smoshri's Reddit Stories.

0:01.9

I'm Shane, and today's theme is advice.

0:04.8

We're taking questions from all the advice subreddits,

0:08.1

and I'm joined by two people who you should take all your advice from.

0:12.0

Mr. Shane, I have an eyelash in my eye, I think.

0:14.8

Trevor, who has an eyelash in his eye and chance.

0:18.3

23M, no eyelash in I. Trevor got his eyelash out. Thank you. Thank you, everyone. Sorry. Huge moment. I apologize. Very big. Do you guys think you give good advice? No, Shane. Okay. I feel like I just give like what I would do. But fair. That's not the best advice, I feel like.

0:38.7

Yeah, that's fair. Yeah. I think I give, I try to. I give like an honest effort at trying to give good advice, but, you know, I'm not a perfect person. And so if something bad happens to someone that I've given advice to, then that's not my fault. I think that's a good point, though, because I think our initial views is like, you give the advice of what you would do in their situation. Yeah. But they're a different person. They're a different person. So it's like, what is the best advice for? Yes. Yeah, for sure. That's when you get, like, I might give good advice to friends because I know them so well. And I'm like, oh, I understand your kind of situation better than just some omniscient. Because when you don't know the person, like these Reddit stories, it's like, well, I don't know your whole thing. But I can just tell you based on my experience, what I would do. Right. Also, like, if you haven't experienced the situation before, it's kind of hard.

1:27.8

Like, if you've done something and it's like, oh, I went through that exact same thing, like, you have experience.

1:32.3

But I feel like people on Reddit probably are just going on there, like, they haven't ever done anything. They're like, well, here's what you should do. Yeah. Yeah.

1:38.4

Oh, people love, like, some of the advice you see on Reddit is, like, hardcore, like, here is the only answer.

1:45.2
