Johnson. Fans of Highbrow Horror, like myself, have long loved the work of Anne Rice. She

revolutionized the genre, starting with her 1976 novel, Interview with a Vampire. It was

turned into a huge blockbuster film in 94, Starring Tom Cruise, as the vampire Lestat, and

Brad Pitt, as the morally-conflicted vampire, Louis de Pont de la Cue. Now, Interview with

a Vampire is back, thrilling viewers with a new television series on AMC. Louis is back

too, but now instead of being a white 18th century plantation owner, he's a black 20th century

upscale pimp, and is a British actor Jacob Anderson sinking his teeth into the role.

I'm hoping health and pride won't deteriorate from the following proposal in a week's

time, in a setting of my choosing. We revisit the project, Boyish Youth, prevented us from

finishing. 49 years and thousands of miles removed from the room we shared in San Francisco.
