Like so much of American popular culture, the internet has been strongly influenced by

Black and other marginalized people.

And podcast of Bridget Todd has made it her business to tell those stories of humor,

activism, and creativity on her show.

I would say the through line of my work is really trying to find those perspectives and

really amplifying them and centering them in a way that I think is meaningful and loving

to demonstrate that we were always there, we'll always be here.

And I guess I would say that through line really is trying to create the conditions for

people who have been historically and traditionally marginalized in these spaces to feel ownership

of taking up more space in these conversations.
