I spoke this morning about the gifts of my life, a few of those gifts, and some of you may

be thinking, well, the title of the conference is a woman's offering.

What are we supposed to give?

I'm still not going to get around to that till the third talk, but all of this is a buildup

toward that, and I would entitle this second talk what we receive, because when you stop

and think about it, we have nothing to give except what we have received.

There's an old blessing before food, grace before food that's been used for centuries

It says, all things come of the O Lord, and of thine own have we given thee.

I can remember as a very small child being given a nickel or a dime by one of my parents,

I remember how proud I was one time when I bought a box of chocolates for my mother for

Can you imagine you younger people that there was ever such a thing as a box of chocolates
