My grandmother lived a life devoted to Jesus, and today her talks have been made available

in their original form.

So you too can be built up through the insights and mysteries God revealed to her throughout

her ministry.

Now without further ado, here is Elizabeth Elliott.

As I said, we have nothing but what we have received.

And so obviously what we give is what we have received.

And I would like to put that under four headings, and I'll give you all four of them.

And then we'll try to go through them.

What we give, number one, is all that I am.

Number two is all that I have.

You can put ditto marks and speed up the note-taking, number three, all that I do.

Number four, all that I suffer.

All that I am, all that I have.

All that I do, and all that I suffer.

When I was a senior in college, it was our custom to get autographs in our yearbooks.

I don't know whether kids still do that nowadays, or even whether they have yearbooks in colleges.

But the junior class would put out a yearbook, which had everybody's picture in it, and we

would race around and try to get everyone to sign their pictures with an autograph.

And I was particularly eager and very scared to try to get Jim Elliott's autograph.

He was a very popular, very big man on campus.
