mythologically democratic hero for Trump. There's endorsements and there's endorsements,

but this one was a doozy. Hi everybody, I'm Bill Whittle here with Steve Green and Scott Ott,

and as you probably heard by now, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has folded his campaign and given

his endorsement to Donald Trump. Now, usually that means something like I endorse Donald Trump,

but that's not what happened. Donald Trump brought Robert F. Kennedy out on a huge audience, a huge stage.

They embraced on stage.

I saw a picture, I don't believe it was photoshopped, of Robert F. Kennedy wearing a Make

America Great Again hat.

There are endorsements, and then there are endorsements.

And what's even more interesting, I think, is that I think it was the day after the

endorsement. Announcement was made that Trump and Kennedy were going to be working together on an

American First platform that would appeal to independence as well as disenfranchised Democratic voters.

So nobody really knows what the electoral effect that this will be. I'm more interested, really,

in the,

kind of in the optics of it. Steve, it goes without saying that the Kennedys have always been since the early 60s, really. In fact, we'd probably make the case into the late 50s,

that the Kennedy family has been the icon of the Democratic Party that John F. Kennedy's presidency was Camelot.

It was the three years of the golden age on earth before, you know, he was snatched away.

And one of the things that I learned through history was that despite the love and affection for John Kennedy,

the young idealists who were working real hard for Bobby Kennedy in 1968 had taken Bobby Kennedy all the way through, you know,

canonization up straight to Godhood. For Robert Kennedy Jr., a man named Robert Kennedy, the son of Bobby Kennedy, the Bobby Kennedy,

to endorse Donald Trump is heresy of the highest order.

I saw his sister, that would be Robert of Kennedy's daughter, basically almost in tears, talking about how she's
